i been wanting to know that myself i have a 97 ram 1500 an i see people that put them on but been wandering if they will bolt right on or if u have to modify your brake calipers for clearance so they dont rub on the rim because i put a 5in lift in my truck an my lift is to clear 35x12.5x15 but i dont wanna buy a set of rims an they dont work

I believe you can, just might have to do some grinding like stogie300 said...

I have 15" rims on my 99 Sport. No mods required. Of course, the backspacing is such that they stick out a little bit. That may make all the difference.

I have to pull my right front tire off tomorrow to replace a lug stud, I will try to remember to measure the backspacing. Maybe even get some pics, if I can find the damn camera.

IIRC, they changed the brake setup in 2000, so I think if you're before 2000, it can be done.

That is correct. My 2000 has dual piston calipers, my sisters 1999 has single piston calipers.

yea 2000 and 2001 cant fit 15s without grinding down the caliper. due to the dual piston setup
