On these trannys you have to check in neutral. The TC is not filled when in park, so reading will be off.

ok so I have been out of town for a long while, just got back to work on truck, i cut one of the pipes to the CAT and it still will not go much at all. It's like the brake is on while driving around the neighborhood.

( Yes Brake is not on ) LOL

any other ideas? Going to check tranny fluid in a few minutes.

EDIT: SO i checked the Tranny Fluid on level ground in Neutral ( engine has somewhat warmed up ) and it was right on the money "LEVEL"

I don't know.. a clogged cooler or check valve would cause the TC to drag or lockup,but I think that would throw off your levels. Just for the hell of it,disconnect your battery cables, shine 'em up and wait for your pcm to reset... are you sure you don't have a brake dragging...lol

Retarded suggestion here but, did you put the trans in neutral and rev the crap out of it?

No I didn't - only rev'd in park. I guess its worth a shot...
