Modded my Throttle Body today =) Pics included!
My truck runs fine too. Just didn't get all that much from my 52mm and that sucker was polished like a mirror when I installed it. Don't really recall if there were butterfly screws protruding or not.
Prolly run even better if you replaced this stuff with stock heat range plugs and thermostat.

I'm currently not running an air cleaner, just the stock air hat & intake piping without an air cleaner (I'm avoiding dusty roads till I can afford a K&N), so maybe my results are more exagerated than others, but even so, the response alone was worth the 2.5 hours of modding I did, and Gtech showed a few hp increase at the wheels so its not all in my head.
My tune up felt & performed a whole lot better than my stock champions did and also the stock champions in my sisters Truck when I did her Ram 360's tune up. I don't ping, I get 16.7mpg and I can eat Chevy Z-71 4x4's. Nothing wrong with this setup these plugs are stayin' in!. We'll see in winter time if I still think the 180 degree thermostat is a good idea or not on those 5-10 degree days, but for right now I rather enjoy not getting my face baked off when I open my hood to check my oil after running it on trips, definitely notice a difference in a lot less underhood heat with the 180. Maybe you guys have something else thats makes yours not run right with those plugs but my setup rocks, possibly bad batch?.

I notice these engines are very picky about spark plug wire routing, if I have any wires within an inch of eachother or one ends up sagging onto another wire I get some roughness or misfire, now that I've tied up my wires & properly routed the coil wire everything runs great and has not misfired since. I'd say if you had any issues after a plug change that caused you to notice a problem its probably your plug wires not the plugs themselves and you got lucky on your wire routing after installing the champions.

Thanks for posting these pics! I have a tracphone and it takes a lot of minutes to send pictures and thats unfortunately the only way I can get them off the phone
You saved me some minutes by posting this thanks
I'm a little late on replying because I've had to deal with several things over the past 3 days, one of which was finally after two weeks catching a guy who was putting take out containers full of his own fecies in the box of my truck at the bar during the course of 2 weeks.
It wasn't a personal thing toward me, it was his deviant thrill to put his own crap into the box of trucks he parks next to. I caught him and confronted him and threw the container of $hit in his face 3 Stooges Pie throwing style and all you could see were his blue eyes. Turns out he's an 80 year old man who gets his kicks out of sick behavior, I'm just happy I could administer justice while he was in the act of doing it. Nobody puts $hit in the back of my babys box and gets away with it.

Should have recorded that for YouTube.
You actually do see a fair increase when you smooth out the throttlebody... I can't speak for our Dodges, but here at the shop, we see between 8-15hp increase on the dyno when we cnc port the throttlebody on our LS engines.... it's free horsepower, why not extract it?
