Got the truck. Shifts great. Reading from the invoice:

(tuff to read)

Replaced clutches, steels, seals, gaskets, orings, washers, sealing rings, sprag, intermeditate band, bearings, low band, overhaul valve body, front drum, overhaul pump, torque converter, transmission mount, all updates,....O/D section rebuilt also.

$2100 tax included 12 month, 12k warranty

Wow!! $2100... I would have just bought a Mega Viper instead of getting a stock rebuild...

well, maybe, maybe not. the internet purchased viper is very damn expensive, and does not include R&R, which is several hours on a 4wd. so if you had to pay someone to do that, you might be looking at $3000+

My Mega Viper, with the upgrades I wanted, was $3447.90 delivered. R&R labor certainly not included in that. By the time I was done the bill was north of $4200.

I would put the transmission through its paces while under warranty, get any kinks worked out this way.

WOW! Maybe I should open a trans shop...only rebuilding 46RE trannys!

Don't forget ....this is CT/Mass Everything is more expensive up here. Also, this guy is well know for his good work and he had it done in 2 days.
