yes it fits perfectly. i have no idea why they don't say it fits 00-01.

the length of the pipe will exactly reach to and line up with the stock muffler on a regular cab short bed. for the longer wheel base models, you'll need a 2-1/2 inch extension pipe, available at any parts store.

edit - link and picture changed from generic to actual item.

JEGS Performance Products 31020 - JEGS Off-Road Y-Pipes for Trucks Details

All to 8500 GVW with single 2-1/2'' exhaust after the converter. 2" inlet to 2-1/2" outlet. Slip fit connection.

JEGS Y-Pipes provide maximum exhaust flow for off-road truck use. These fit directly from the manifold to the stock cat-back exhaust for all 2WD/4WD applications and wheel bases. Constructed from mandrel-bent 16-gauge aluminized tubing, the pipes include flanges, gaskets, oxygen sensor bungs and plugs, and exhaust clamps. A JEGS cat-back exhaust system is recommended to receive the full benefit of the increased exhaust flow. Catalytic converter(s), sold separately, can be added for street-legal use, yet some modifications will be required. Made In USA

Hummm interesting. After some more research I think it will fit. I will also be doing Flowtech shorties, and getting rid of the stock cat and getting a spun hi flow in which i will also do the non fouler trick. then from the hi flow will be a single chamber muffler with duels out the back.

Don't forget to check your plenum plate (if you have not done so) before installing new o2's.

stewie01--I'm a deff. keeping documentation of what I'm doing to the truck and are for sure doing pics and vids. Even I want to see and hear what the before and after will be. And zman17...I have read about the plenum and actualy already have the Hughes kits and I also got their tune up kit. I just haven't had time to put it in yet becuase it will be a friday saterday job. Nothing will be done to the truck performance wise until the kit is in. This fourm has been a huge help. Even though I know alot out Dodges, I had no clue what so ever about the plenum issue. You guys are life savers. Thanks again.

anyone have a pic of what that Y-pipe actually looks like?
how long is it after the Y ?
is it long enough to replace the cat and reach the stock muffler?
does it have a bolt on flange on the end ?
does it have a bung for the rear O2?
