Default Barrery/Alt issue?

Just came across an issue with my truck. I was driving around, received a phone call so I pulled into a parking lot to park the truck and shut it off. When I went to start the truck back up, nothing. The radio was on for a few minutes and that went out. I had boosted the truck and got home, my battery gauge was reading over 14 volts and the GEN light was coming on. I placed my battery charger on the truck and hooked it up. The battery showed that it has charged fairly quick so I hauled the charger off and went to start it and again nothing.

Do you guys think this is a battery/Alternator issue?

Get it started, take it to a parts store, and have them load test the battery and alt. I am going to guess your battery is going to fail.....

Gotta watch those places though.. one time in my wife's Ford they told me i needed a new battery. Little did they know the batter was less than 4 days old..and i was just getting second opinion on the Alt to make sure there was not a problem with it.. When i called the guy out on it.. he walked away into the back and hid there untill i started to leave.
