You'll need to have the AC system evac'd and recharged. I know its colder out now, but dont wait. You have air in the system now, not good.

What's the ig deal with air? Corrosion? I don't really have the money for that, can I just buy a recharge kit and be done with it??

Air in the system does a couple of things. Dirst, it allows moisture to remain in system whcih turns to acid, and it prevents the refrigerant from being filled to the correct level and has different compression proerties than the refrigerant.

You can recharge it, but it's a waste of time if you don't evac the air/moisture out. It'll contaminate the refrigerant, corrode components, and eventually cause leaks.

You'll need a pump and a set of gauges. And search on youtube, there are videos showing how to do it.
