Hello: I have a 1998 Ram 1500 4x2, with a bad auto trans.. I have a friend with a 98 Ram 4x4 1500 auto with a bad engine. He offered too sell me tranny.. Does anybody know if they will interchange without too much trouble??

Not worth it. Get a tranny from a 98 99 2wd only.
