That's exactly what happened, my mom decided it would be a good idea to clean my windows for me one day for whatever reason and used windex and ended up leaving really ugly marks on my windows. I unfortunately dont have a steamer but i'll look into that goo gone solution. Thanks for the help, i'll have to post a picture on how it turned out

Hahaha trust me I've been there which is exactly how I knew what happened I spent two days tinting my car and a week later my mom did the same thing haha it happens man but atleast they're trying to clean up after us lol

Yep use a chisel. And a hammer.. really easy and quick job

Successfully got my tint off, managed to take a couple pictures as i progressed.

The real bitch was to get all the adhesive glue crap off, used paint thinner and other various products and now as you can see, they're pretty damn clean!

The supplies that i used:
Razor Blade
Heat gun with variable settings
Paint Thinner
Glass Grade Wool

Approx. Duration:
Hour max on each window, if you're picky.

Single edge razor blade works well with a little heat.
