How will my trans handle under the extra torque and horsepower? I wold like to put in a 6 speed from a 24v... Is this possible?
You will have to swap in the larger input shaft out of a diesel (1 1/4" vs our 1 1/8" v8 input). Otherwise the trans should hold up until you start really building that cummins.
NV5600 would be easy to swap in, just need the crossmember with it, and it might be longer.. (If so driveshaft mods would be necessary)
