Default Vibrations in floorboard

I got a 1994 dodge ram with a 5.9L plenum fixed and I noticed the past few weeks when I get over 45mph the floorboard is vibrating, and the accelerator pedal shakes a lot too. And thoughts or ideas on where to start looking?

Does the vibration dissipate above 45mph?

No it starts, when im idle or around town I don't feel it. When I get on a highway or open road and get above around 45 it starts to vibrate and shake pedal oddly. Not sure what could be causing that. Someone told me its possibly a U joint on the tranny needs to be replaced.

It could be bad u-joints; a broken transmission mount; a broken engine mount/missing bolt; or the driveshaft could be out of balance.

How's your steering? Does it wander, rattle, or clunk? If so, and the vibration is not perceptible in the passenger floorboard or is much, much less perceptible there, it's possible that the problem might be solved by fixing up the steering column slop with one of these.

The way that bit of magic works: Vibration and other mechanical shock from the steering system is transmitted up through the steering shaft to the column, always, but when there's slack in the column due to a worn column bushing that mechanical shock is not damped as it would ordinarily be. It becomes more of a hammering (albeit usually very small and very rapid) rather than a solidly coupled mechanical energy transfer. Then you feel it in the floorboard, and because they're nearby, in the pedals, via the steering column toe plate.

That's something to look into, but not a guaranteed fix. It might also be any of those things that VWandDodge has mentioned.

What about wheels being out of balance? It may be vibrating all over from an out of balance wheel, you just feel it in the floor.
