96 Ram Starter will not come out!?

Bad threads are at the start of the stud, so I can't get a nut started. It could have been corrosion. It was getting dark outside when I finally got it off. It didn't look too bad for corrosion though. So I really don't know why it was stuck on the way it was.

Got a hand grinder? If you're careful you can buzz down past the bad threads, dress up the edge, and thread a couple of nuts on there.
