Well I hope not, that tanks going to weigh a ton if I cant syphon. Your one of the few lucky ones. That's quite the storm moving up the coast. At least with all the trees down you could have lots of wood for winter.

Not so, I have no wood stove or fireplace for that matter. That's why I have a generator.

Anyway, get some 3/8" fuel hose and stick it down the fill tube and twist it so it's the fuel. If you can't get it that way. remove the filler neck(which you have to do anyway) and get it out from there.

Thanks all, got the tank almost dry and it came out and installed with ease. New pump sounds a lot healthier.

So what do you all think of the oil in my plenum plate? I replaced with the hughes plenum plate about a year ago and torqued everything properly. I replaced the pcv valve.

No, just the local parts store. Whats the difference? If I need it to prevent more oil i'll go get one.

The auto parts store valves are hit and miss, more often miss. They tend to allow too much air flow under high vacuum conditions, which sucks oil into the intake.

Interesting. I always try to avoid the dealer because of prices but I'll head there today and pick up a valve.. Is there anything I can do about the oil already there or just leave it?
