Plenum to-do list.
So I'm gathering all the parts to do the plenum, I'm ordering a Hughes Plenum kit (comes with a 195* stat which I'll be switching with a 185* stat, and it comes with a new bypass hose), new plugs, wire, distributor cap, rotor, and O2 Sensor. Is there anything else that I should consider buying and doing while the engine is torn this far down?
I'm taking it to my mechanic to be done as he's only charging me about $350 in labor for everything. I'd do it myself, but this truck is still my daily driver (and daily gas hog) and I'm not really that comfortable doing it, as I've never done anything this major, and with my luck, I'll mess something up.

I'm at about 111,700, and it's definitely blown. I bought the truck 2 years ago with 70,000 miles on it and it wasn't blown then, but in the last two years I've driven about 120 miles a day to school round trip, so it's been worked hard.

Yeah, I was going to do the 180 stat originally, cause HemiFever said that's what I should use, but I'm a fan of hot heat, so I'm going to do a 185, someone in another post said HemiFever said that it would probably be ok.
185* thermostat. never seen one and can't find one on rock auto. i think a 180* thermostat with electric fans would probably allow you to run as warm or cold as you would like.

not that bad, i did it the cheap way though, i spent less than $100 on the whole project got the fans and the controller off amazon for $70... i had to move the condenser out of the way to mount them and the biggest pain was getting the old clutch fan off. i used a ratchet strap and wrapped it around the water pump pulley and hooked it on either side of the frame and sinched it down and i was able to knock the fan loose, that was the biggest pain
