Default Shaking in 4 wheel drive

Hey everyone....I just got a 1999 Ram yesterday..drives great, except for today, I put it in 4x4..felt like the front was just shaking, but truck started shaking at about 10mph and got worse as I drove faster... It drives perfect in 2 wheel drive... Any suggestions to the problem

It's not a horrible shake, but it feels like it shouldn't be shaking like that...if you can, could you look at my profile, and look at my albums...I have a pic of my truck....could it be that I have big *** tires on the truck???

If it shakes in 4wd but not 2wd, its not the tires. It doesnt matter what drive your in, if the truck is moving, all 4 wheels are turning.

Start by checking all the u joints in the front. Driveshaft, and both wheels.

Unless your big @ss tires are out of balance, they would not cause shaking in 4wd. If they were out of balance, it would shake all the time. Check your u-joints and front end.

U-joints...especially the CV joint in your front drive shaft.

its unlikely to be the front axle u-joints. like the front tires, they turn all the time, even in 2WD.

check front drive shaft.
