^^ I think your dog has a body lift. Have you tried putting him on the floor at ground level? Then his body wouldn't be lifted anymore.

OP yes your truck has a lift.. 14 inch suspension lift along with a 22 inch body lift.. Body lift of such size is only possible with hockey pucks and super glue... and your next door neighbor Bubba... along with some Budweiser.... And a stuffed moose... ice cubes also...
