My 97 ram 1500 will not shift into 4 wheel drive. I got new hubs in it and for a while there if you dropped it into 4 low the gears would change but the front drive shaft wouldnt move. Does anyone know what could be the reasoning behind that?

 

t-case external linkage binding, low fluid level, internal damage..try shifting at a low(er) speed or stopped

 

Check the vaccuum lines going to the cad unit on the front axle.
