How long for coolant smell to diminish
Hey folks,
Swapped heater core myself yesterday. PITA to say the least. Did not discharge the AC. Used a youtube video as a guide, pretty good.
One issue, it fogged up for a few minutes when i started up the new core for the first time, that went away now there is just a smell of coolant. It's not too strong but still faint. Does it just go away over time as it dries out?
I cleaned the best I could but could only reach down so far into the heater box.
Any suggestions on cleaners or such would be appreciated.
