Default Lift to clear 39.5x14 boggers

Just as the title says, what lift so I need to throw under my 2001 1500 sport to clear those? I know about axles, gears, ect. But I'm asking about pure lift to be able to have some good articulation and not rub. I'll cut fenders to make it work. I was thinking a 7" long arm but not sure. Most important is that the truck will be used in rocks and will need to FLEX!

7 inches will work if you cut the fenders but you won't get much articulation. I'd go with 10 inches.

heavy tires like that on flexy suspension, you will need about 10, and make sure you secure the ends of front coils so they dont spit. in my sig pic those are 38s

+1 on 10" for flex. Do cepek long arm kit for the front. You will get your best flex with them and they will center your axle in the wheel well. P.s. only problem with our trucks and off the shelf long arm kits. If you would sit your truck down on a rock hard, it will bend your arms. May want to look at some stronger tube if you are going to be on rocks alot. Just my .02

Don't bother with the solid joint Cepek kit, get the Dodge Off road Long arm kit. Better in every way.

As stated just use the DOR long arms. He made those alot stronger then the cepek long arms.

Or you can search around to find this ad. Just sleeve the arms to beef them up. Cut fenders, still get stuck in hole with crap boggers, and you're done.
