I am going to get a new one today, they only cost about $36. Ill be sure that the neg is removed, thanks

Cool Resolved

Replaced the IACV and made sure to disconnect the neg-. Everything is clean and seems to running great. No deaths at idle so far when stopping. Thank you for the help once again guys!

So guess what? The truck ran great for several days, but is now dieing again at idle.. Whats next? :-)

I've read on here that the IAC and the throttle position sensor work together. You can check the TPS with an analog voltmeter.

Try SEAFOAM. its an intake cleaner. spray it down and around the throttle body real good while its runnin
