dodge problem

Default dodge problem

Got a big problem i have a new battery an alternator is putting out good. My gauge says its low and my speedo is jumping. And every now and then the transmission wont shift out of third and just reeves up please help. Done changed output speed sensor

Need a scan tool and see if it's voltage regulator which is in the PCM.Your not the first to have this problem.

Yeah i do but ppl dont usually call them scan tools thats y i said what i did bc last time i checked they was called obd 2 scanners duhhh

First of all, why did you create two threads on the same thing? Second, why did you post a technical question in the general discussion section? Third, scan tool = scanner. Seems pretty simple to me. Take it to autozone. They will scan it for you.

The free scan tool at autozone will only read code if CEL is on, won't give you any live data as suggested in post #3 to see what VR is doing. OP Are you saying that your battery is good and alternator is charging , but dash gauge says it's not.? What prompted output speed sensor replace?
