needs more power desperately

The stock 1998 Ram 360 was rated for 245 HP at 4000RPM, and dropped off quickly after that. So the FIPK adds 11 HP at an RPM that is 500 HIGHER then where the engine would make power stock.
Please.
Not only that, but you don't need more air until you're pushing some serious internal mods.
Sorry, I don't believe you, the butt-dyno lies, numbers don't. Please enlighten me if you can.

You do realize that the stock air box pulls air from INSIDE the fender, rather then from behind a radiator shield in the engine bay, right? Now, if one were to tube up another intake into the K&N, it would be pretty good. However, a mostly stock truck doesn't need a CAI, the stock air box with a Spectre drop in is sufficient. Trust me, my truck moves for the big lugging 4x4 it is. About the only advantage the K&N has is the nice, smooth tube.
*EDIT*
Good God this is a joke. http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...prod=57-1517-2
11.68 hp @ 4553RPM?! That's not even in the usuable rev range.

Also, horsepower moves cars, torque moves our big *** trucks. So I wanna see torque numbers, not horsepower.
