Im seriously jealous of all your low duals prices.... Cheapest i could get for just straight pipe in regular pipe was $450. Thats no mufflers, x pipe or wipe or anything...

Sweet.

It really confuses me why Dodge geared these trucks (auto's anyway) the way they did, **** you're in OD by 55-60Mph and you still have half the damn speedo left....

Probably because most people don't use their truck at any speeds higher than 75-80 max.

Mine has been 95 in 3rd and was running at around 3700....give or take, it was windy and scary as hell...

Man this almost has become the over 4k RPM thread lol... Only time I get over 4000RPM is when I am engine braking, or accidentally shift into 1st at high-speeds (That was on the auto). When towing it usually would hit 2nd at about 3000RPM, and manage the hills at about 55MPH. One time on the interstate it was knocking like crazy in 3rd and 4th so had to put it in 2nd to avoid it knocking... At 70MPH it was hitting 4250RPM... Turned out it was lacking 2 qts of engine oil :O.

I hit 5k once when towing up a mountain outside of Salt Lake. I was in 1st gear on I-80 lol, sucked
