The dishsoap is for the rubber leveling kits? Or what?

How hard/ what is involved in detaching the sway bar?

I disconnected my sway bar at the end links. Came right apart. Another way is to undo it from the frame like White did in the pic he posted. Gets it completely out of the way.

Allright sounds pretty straightfoward. This will probably be one of those things that you think will be easy until you actually start doing it...

Nonetheless it can't hurt to try.

Its really not that involved.. unbolt the shocks and undo the sway bar.. Then its a matter of being able to jack the truck up high enough to get them in.. The dish soap just helps in letting them slide in easier.
