well the t case comes with it if that makes a difference, is anyone a hundread percent sure this will work, im on the verge of buying it

Should bolt right in, and hook right up. There may be some minor wiring differences, but, changing some electrical parts would take care of that. I would also verify that the torque converter is compatible with the 360... 318 is internally balanced, 360 is externally balanced, at one point, dodge was adding balance weights to the converter, I think in 96 (or maybe it was 98...) they changed that to the flex plate.

getting closer to the definitive answer im looking for, i have no way of verifying torque converter stuff,

Check with the local dodge dealer.

Or, to be really safe, just pick up a new converter for your engine size. Then you would be assured it would work.

Your old one is going to be full of debris from the dead trans, damn near impossible to clean it all out. All you would be doing there is making sure your new trans didn't last real long.

Should be able to find a cheap one for under 100....... if budget is a problem. If you can afford it, I would look for something a bit better though....

well there is always the option of waiting a month or so till money is back to normal but damn i hate driving my wifes mini van, i just wanna get my truckk going
