did he post a part number? only bad thing i have noticed about hedman header is they tend to have thinner flanges than other brands

Hedmans are crap, plain and simple. They're low end, cheap-***, punk kid headers for those who can't stand to save a few more dollars to get a decent set. Always have been.

damn.... well, that does explain why he isn't asking much, and why they were never installed.
he didn't post a p/n, either.
I guess I'll just save up a few bucks and get a set of pacestters. Everyone else seems to be running those.

I think the Summit branded headers are made by Pacesetter too.

From what I read, they are.
When I asked the guy about the headers he said either hedman or hooker. Either or, I'll go check them out and probably turn them down. For an extra 200 I'll get what everyone else swear by. Cant go wrong that way.

hedman doesnt make long tubes for our trucks anyway. good luck fitting them!
