Well got it all put back together and set the distributor using one of the threads I found and it seems to run decent, still could use some help though because it almost seems like power flat spot on the upper end, but once I get it all together and road worthy ill take it in and have it set right, Its runs good enough for now.

Thanks to Mark for the clutch/brake pedals I can finally get this started. I think having it done by Monday is wishing pretty high but maybe can have it close by then.

Well the only way to get it perfect is with a high dollar scan tool that can set fuel sync... Might have to get it to a dealer for that if you cant find someone with one.

Yeah, thats what I figured. The vo-tech Im at has access to alot of this stuff and one of my instructors is part time at the dealer so he has done some of this stuff. Has anyone here used a snap-on modis? Will that get the job done or will I have to take it in and use like a DRBIII

Well since this is a tranny swap thread I wont talk to much I'll just give a run down of what we did this weekend. I got doors swapped out, had to move the windows over and the motors/wiring for locks/windows/mirrors. That was fairly easy once I figured it out.

Was hoping to have tranny in this weekend and if I didn't have any "distractions" I could have had it done I think, but I took it pretty easy today since I was so tired. We got the clutch pedal and hydros installed, as well as marked out and cut out our shift tower opening. I think we should have at the very least trans installed next week

I was glad to see the area was already pre-stamped. I just measured how much distance there was between the indent and the actual opening, which was about an 1 1/2". Then just followed the indent around making marks at 1 1/2". I then went back and free handed a solid line, or connected the dots. I thought it turned out pretty good so I didn't bother straightening them up with a ruler or compass. I then took a jig saw and cut the hole out. Turned out pretty good. I wished I knew where my budgets going to end up on this thing. I would have liked to gut the interior and install new headliner and carpet, but i wasn't sure yet so I had to mess with the carpet while measuring/cutting. I still need the shift boots so if anyone has some for sale let me know.

They are the same now that I got stuff apart I had a chance to count splines and measure diameters, have not slid em together yet but being as everything measures the same i dont see why not

the NV4500 is locked and loaded, just need to bolt up t case and trans crossmember and we'll be ready to go if I have any luck, although I have no clue the internal condition of the ECM and wire harness off the parts truck so im hoping it runs

why did dodge feel the need to change the connectors on CPS? Figured it be an easy swap out to put the manual CPS on and use the old harness but noooo we have to change connectors, so I found it easier swapping out entire harness since I had one right in front of me from parts rig. Then I dont have to worry about connections and green gremlins giving fits down the road.

I did a dumb one and left my camera in my apartment when I came home for the weekend so I dont have any pics for you guys, sorry, sure wish I would have remembered I need a input shaft alightment tool, but ya live and learn I guess we got it finally
