i dont think driving 40 miles then filling up again is very accurate... Fill till it clicks.. Reset trip and drive till E.. Refill again and then divide miles by gallons filled.. Gets you pretty close to what it is.. OR like Unreg said you can go the extra mile to calculate for tire size and what not.. Thats just to much math for me.

^^ thats the way I've always done it. Like skinning cats, there is more than one way, however, imo this is the most accurate...save the tire size crap...I'm not quite that ****....(or that good at math)...

80 miles sound better? I never run the tank to E... To dangerous around here.

There is a bunch of rabid wild coons out there.. If he runs out of gas they will **** in his truck

Most of our routes, there are only gas stations with high-quality 87 about 30 miles on HWY 34, on HWY 5 it is more. Usually though the truck hits the HWY34, and almost always towing. That's how it gets most of it's miles is towing on 34.

Around here it is a sport to hunt coons with hounds so they keep 'em down. If they set foot on the farm I'd have the slingshot and axe out their faster than they could leave.
