Has anyone ever installed a 2005 or newer factory Chrysler stereo in their 2nd gen? I'm aware the wiring is different, that isn't much of a concern though. I like the clean look of a factory radio, however the lack of an aux port is frustrating.

I'm more concerned with fitment, I'm not sure if I could bring myself to hack up my instrument panel bezel since it's either been replaced with a Mopar piece or it's the nicest original in existence (no cracks or fading!).

Mounts are different, and probably the connectors as well. Probably would require some hacking to get it to mount nice. Of course, that would be behind the bezel, don't think you would have to touch the bezel itself. (aside from removing it for installation.)
