Default V6 to V8

My son has a 95 v6 and I can get a wrecked 95 v8 truck for cheap. Has any one put a v8 motor and tranny in a v6 truck? How much will have to be changed? I can get the truck cheap it was running when hit in the side. My son's is a short cab the wrecked one is an extended cab.

should swap right in. you just need to take the old computer and under hood wiring harness out and install the new v8 engine/transmission/wiring harness and hook it up.

the short cab to ext cab will not make a difference, just use the drive shaft from the v6 truck.
