94 Ram 2500 8.0 V10 No Spark
Please help me. This truck ran perfect the other day. I went to plow with it and it cranks but no start. The fuel pump does run for a few secopnds when you turn the key on. I am not sure because the cover is missing, but I beleive the ASD relay is also cycling because there are 2 that click when I turn the key on. I am not getting spark. I tried checking all of the wires on both coil packs for power at every wire and found no power going to the coils. I did have my father cycle the key because as I understand it it only powers for about 3 seconds. I did find some codes in the computer and I will list them. I tried to find the codes on here but I dont think I have the right desciption for them. I am thinking if the codes are even close they seem to have to do with issues from the Cam position sensor. Will the cam sensor keep the coils from getting power? Please help more snow on the way and I need this truck back.

12 Battery Disconnect<-no worries.
11 No Crank reference signal at PCM. <- This would be a problem..... possibly THE problem.
33 AC clutch relay circuit<- bet your a/c doesn't work.... short or open in the circuit.
41 Generator field not switching properly..... This code will set when voltage at ASD relay falls below 11.75.... which a dead battery, or a battery that has cranked a lot would prolly do. May not be an issue at all.
21 O2's stay at center, or, shorted to voltage.... If they are original, probably just worn out.
55 End of list.
Check the crank sensor. Sounds like it died.

Welcome to Dodge Forum. I agree with everything HeyYou said. Without a signal from the Crank or Cam sensor the PCM will not fire the plugs. The Crank sensor on the V10 is located on the lower right side of the block, near the oil pan rail, not too far behind the oil filter. Hope that helps.
