I have a 360 shaved polished heads, cai, my own custom welded y pipe thats 3" to a dynomax turbo. No cat. I plan to be plowing snow with it and it is way to loud to plow peoples driveways at 3 in the morning. I was wondering if i could use a glasspack as kind of a resonator to keep that deep tone to it but be a little bit quieter?
IMO glass packs are high-schooler stuff. I used to use them, then one day I realized my Dad was right the whole time. Its not the volume of the sound as much as it is the quality. I suggest getting some upgraded mufflers that flow well, but dont rattle the glass.
If you really want to stay in business I would recomend making it as quiet as possible during the snow season when your cleaning drives @ 3:00 a.m. if not you probably will only clean them once.
Flomasters are pretty loud tho haha and i was going to keep the muffler and put a glasspack on it as well. Cuz the muffler is pretty loud and i dont really have the money to buy another muffler. Didnt know if it would be a cheap fix or not
