Wiring problems

Default Wiring problems

I was putting a new radio in my truck and while I was working on it the year wire pop out of the butt connector. It sparked on the radio. When I sparked I lost Dome lights,power to my mirrors, and the radio won't work. What do I do?

Fix the wire, replace the IOD fuse.

Thanks! I know these post sounded dumb but I was having trouble locating the right fuse. These fuse panel was labeled wrong thanks for help.

There are two fuse panels,,,,one is PDC under hood and the other is left end of dash.

Did you get it fixed?

Yeah. I got the fuse replaced. It was labeled as power seats. Which was not right. I got the radio in and everything buttoned up.

Glad to see this. My lighter and fancy running lights on the ceiling and around windows in my van keep blowing the dash panel fuse. Need to check the under hood fuse panel and see whats up there and look for a hopeful wiper motor fuse before replacing the whole motor unneccessarily. The dash panel fuse was fine.
It's a 99 Ram Van 1500 but I am sure there is a fuse box under there somewhere!
