Default transmission is leaking alot!

ok so i have a 95' ram 1500 2wd 5.9L...recently my transmission wnet out.so after searching i found a used one.slapped it in replaced the front pump seal..everything was fine for about a month.then just the other day me the gf and the puppy took a trip up mt.lemmon..the local mountain here in arizona.half way up i notice the truck smoking so i pull over popped the hood and looked and saw alot of tranny fluid leaking from in front of the bell housing onto an exhaust pipe..so we decided to stop play in the snow let it cool off and take a look..it stopped leaking so i threw a qt. of ATF in...got it moving trying each gear then all of a sudden it died..(now my truck has had problems dieing at stop lights once you put it in a gear.not sure which so i always sit on the brake and a little on the gas) so i thought maybe it was that..went to start it back up and it only cranked..check for spark no spark..replaced the coil..still no spark..saw on a forum to change the crank position sensor..we got the old on off and saw it broke off the bracket that holds it.so we got it started down the mountain and home(starting in 1st-2nd then drive of course) now my main question is HOW THE HELL CAN IT BE LEAKING WHEN ITS A BRAND NEW FRONT PUMP SEAL!!..If anyone can help id really appreciate..im about ready to shoot this truck -thanks chris

Need to do the check valve delete on the cooler line.....

Need to nose around in there, and see where the fluid is coming from. It may be coming from the torque converter seal..... or, the pump itself may have failed. Or, if the trans is overheating, it may be blowing fluid out the vent hole. (which is IN the bellhousing there. stupid idea, that.....)
