I just meant the plenum would need to be removed to change the gasket on the left valve cover. The plenum sit's on top of the valve cover. I didn't get the claim check in time to get the V10 truck. Oh well. I'll keep looking.

I have been having a string of bad luck the last six months, what with cancer and truck accidents. Today might prove to be a turning point. A nice 3/4 ton 97 Ram V10 sits in my drive waiting for MVD to open.

I took a couple Cell phone pics today. I finally got it in my name and passed emissions. Had to do the Radiator, Thermostat (the single most expensive thermostat I ever saw), and the O2 sensor. I thought the 5.7 liter Hemi I had in an 04 Ram and the 5.9 Liter I had in the 99 Ram was strong. This 8 liter V10 is amazing. I need to find some figures on output cause this is strong. I like it. Now gas mileage is not so hot but I think I can live with it. I need a new front bumper and a center cap if anyone wants to lose a part.

That's a nice truck. Same color as mine with the 2 tone. Got a long bed too, does it take a football field to turn it around?

For shi!ts and giggles you could stop by your local Dodge dealer and ask about a cap, I got an excellent deal on 4 of the newer style center caps for mine.

Also check eBay. Any bumper from a non sport (the fancy plastic bumper) Ram should be a direct fit

I'd get rid of those mirrors though..

It can turn on a largeish residential street. I have to say parking has been fun. I forget the tailend is there. I'd love the new style tow mirrors, but I would have huge holes on the doors. I need the mirrors if I pull my fifth wheel so I'm sorta stuck with them.

Well if you ever have a few bucks laying around you could take it to a body shop, have them remove and fix the holes.. Then get some newer style tow mirrors...
