Default Engine ABS and Brake Light

I have a 1997 dodge 1500 5.2L auto 4x4 that I just purchased for work about 3 weeks ago. It has 130,000 miles on the truck, everything has been fine until today. I don't know much about dodge trucks but I could't pass up the the money I got back for my 2006 raider and this truck for trade in. Its very clean.

So anyhow I was driving last night and my check engine light comes on. I go to the local autozone today, and they read the codes which state these could be the following reasons.
1.Evap or Purge
2.Vacuum hoses.
3.Bad Gas.
4.Gas Cap.

So I purchased some lucas fuel injector cleaner then procede to fill up the tank. As I'm driving the ABS and BRAKE light come on.

Everything is running fine I don't see leaks, and the brake fluid is full. I did replace the battery when I first purchased the truck and changed the oil. I aslo tried replacing the gas cap and lights are still on

Does anyone know what could be causing all the lights to come on.

Thanks for any help!!!

When this happened to me (ABS and BRAKE lights) it was the speed sensor on top of the rear differential pumpkin.

The spedo seems fine, I was on the highway last night everything seemed normal, No high reving and no loss of speed no slipping.

The truck is running very good, the only other thing I noticed is that the air filter does not seem to fit the intake correctly. It almost seems to small and wont completely cover the intake.

Given your symptoms, I would replace the rear wheel speed sensor. Probably fix several of your issues.

There is no real way to test the sensor.... aside from being able to plug in a scanner that can read real-time data from it.

Bad news the brakes lines that run above the sensor are pretty rusty instead of replacing the sensor, I have a buddy that has a shop and plus its beyond my expertise (brake lines), so for a 150 bucks he said he'll replace the back brake lines and the sensor together. Is that worth it.

Default Air Cleaner

If your Air Cleaner does not look like it mounted on the Throttle Body correctly make sure you check it out, might as well check the air cleaner while you are doing that. The clamp that holds the air cleaner to the throttle body may not be clamped correctly, check for a TB gasket to be in place as well.
Good luck!
