I thnk BP got saltwater in their gas some time back.....heehee....instead of fresh water!

HeyYou, do you have a scanner that can monitor O2 readings real time? That might provide some insight. Seems strange it only does it when hot and not cold.

Some interesting options there.....

Unfortunately, I do not have a scanner..... the one that used to be available to me got sold. (he retired, and sold off a bunch of his really cool tools.... scanner, brake lathes... etc. I was bummed.)

So, driving home from work today, I watched the temp gauge, and monitored how the engine was running. Smooth as glass right up until the temp gauge passes the halfway point between 130, and 200, then it starts to miss and buck.... It has GOT to be a sensor somewhere..... just can't figger out which one.....

Unplug the 02's from the harness see what it does. Start with the back one.

Front O2 is unplugged. No difference.

Is the resistance value on the ECT for the PCM linear? Or does it make a jump around 150 or so?? I seem to remember seeing something along those lines at one point...... maybe?

Well, took a couple suggestions from this here thread.... (thanks guys.) Had a service call today, so, went and put 40 bucks worth of 89 octane gas from shell in, and a bottle of gas dryer..... went for a drive, ran fine, for the most part... it did miss a little bit again about halfway thru the trip, (which was only about 12 miles one way) but, it got over it fairly quickly. This leads me to believe that it is time to drop the tank, and flush the entire fuel system, and see what kind of stuff I find in my gas.... But, I think I will run it down to at least a quarter tank before doing that......

Also found where my coolant had been going..... seam on the radiator is leaking pretty good now. Taking it to the shop tomorrow to replace it. (already got the new one, and also, some new A/C Delco plugs to install...)

We shall see if this permanently solves the problem.

Thanks Guys!
