FWIW, i replaced my water pump in oct 2011, and it was a brand new GMB pump from advance, and it was faulty from the factory. leaked like a bastard once truck was shut off.

replaced WP again, and never looked back.

If it's coming from a bolt.... pull the bolt, put some RTV on it, and put it back in.

you might want to check to see if its not your timing cover, i have a small leak there i just havent gotten around to fixing yet, it only leaks right when the truck is shut off also

How many miles on truck? May want to consider replacing pump.

Did you get the mating surface on the block nice and clean before installing the new pump?

My bet is the oring on the water pump inlet. Small diameter black tube coming in the top at about the 1 oclock position.

Just enough comes out to run down and can appear that the timing cover gasket or other is the source. Sometimes so faint you have to get a paper towel there to catch it.

This would be an easy one to rule out.
