I've since drove the truck about 40 miles and I haven't had the code kick back on yet. Don't know what that's about.

Ok so I changed fluid and filter as well as the trans speed sensor and it seems the problem is gone for now. I'm taking it to the trans shop Friday and let them drive it and mess around with it and see what they say.

If it's behaving itself I'd almost be inclined to hold off on the transmission shop, give it some more time and see how it does. A transmission shop is probably gonna try and sell you something even if you don't really need it...

The shop that did my trans isn't like that, even though my warranty on it's up he was gonna look at it and do what he could in reason for free.

That's good!

Some shops are out to make a buck even if there isn't a valid reason to do work.

Let us know what they say.

Go to the FAQ/DIy section and look for the Service Manual Download. Look in the transmission section. Also, it will show you the gauges and pressure testing...but it takes 2 gauges. One up to 100 psi and one for 300 psi. Gauges are a must for best testing and troubleshooting....
