When you're only lifting 3 inches "doing it right" doesn't need to cost 2 grand. Generic spacers/coils, blocks/leafs, and shocks will do the trick just fine.

RC componets are fine, I started getting my stuff from them as they're only 25 minutes away from me.

Thats what i got and 35's fit fine. I just get weird rim rub for some reason..

He wants to do it right... Not try and stuff the largest tire under his truck with the least amount of work... Leveling Kit and AAL are the best bet if you want to stay on the budget side of things and keep it simple... Yes a body lift is easy but it is also more work than anything else... Remember any tire 33 inches or taller it is a good idea to look into a regear.. Your transmission will hate you if you dont.

How does a spacer add more tension on your coils????? It does not affect the spring rate at all. Neither does a block. But I hate blocks.

I'd say 2.5" hell bent steel spacers up front, 2" aal's in back and the bilstein shocks as previously mentioned.

The reason you hate blocks is because they act as a lever, giving the axle MUCH more torque to apply to the springs, thus, giving you more axle wrap. never a good thing. I was rather surprised to see blocks from the factory... that just has bad idea written all over it.

I would advise you to skip on rancho shocks had them on my truck and they sucked. Bilstein is a great shock though
