Have not had the chance to do a band adjustment yet.....

@zman17 , yeah....but that was as of January 13 for my last fillup...I have a few more fill ups to add to it from the past month....and also that was before I did my plenum fix and all that other stuff (timing chain, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, o2 sensor etc...) Ill be able to go through this tank right now and the next tank I go through I can see if my mpgs have changed.

Anyone have any progress on this? I've been talking to my boss about it lately and after looking at the band/clutch apply chart that alldata shows, he said to try driving with overdrive off. So I tried it today, and from the few times I tried...the problem was gone...I need to do some more driving tomorrow to test out some more but it seems to be the overdrive clutch may have failed...I'll talk to my boss again tomorrow but thats what I got so far.

Sorry wish I did, the weather here is just starting to get nice so I was planning on dropping the pan this weekend... Went to the dentist today and as I walked away I smelt antifreeze, yep huge puddle on the ground middle of the engine area... Can seem to find the leak so I am guessing water pump gasket maybe... Need to get the fluids in it before I worry about the trans now.

Hey there...so finally after some time now...I adjusted the TV cable and after driving for a while, the shift points seem softer, and the problem seems gone. The overdrive band I was talking about earlier was nothing...It still had the issue with OD off after driving for a while.

So check adjustment on the TV cable and try that out. Works for me so far.

Hey guys... Just wanted to update ya'll... Turns out my coolant leak was the timing cover gasket... fixed and working as designed again. I have ordered the replacement sensor and solenoid for the transmission. Once they arrive I will be replacing both and update you with my results then. Cheers!
