allof thoughs were done in the last 6 months. I just picked up a new front O2 censor ill put it in tonight. when I checked the fuel pressure I left the gauge on for a while and the psi went down to like 2psi shouldn't it keep a constant pressure even if the truck is off?

Fuel pressure will bleed off. That's why, with FI vehicles, the key should be turned to the "ON" position and the driver should wait until the fuel pump whine ceases before attempting to start the vehicle.

It could be a failing coil pack, dirty IAC, or faulty throttle throttle position sensor.

There's a DIY that pertains to cleaning the IAC. Check that first.

I think I found the problem! my brand new set of wires are crap. I stayed a fine mist from a squirt bottle on the wires and almost every one is bad. my coil wire must have 30 cracks in it! its like a light show under my hood!

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Good to see you took the time to trouble-shoot rather than swapping out parts and hoping for the best.

I wouldn't do that. Leave it until it fails and then replace it with the proper unit.

Hahns5.2 has. He even has a return style system. Don't recall if the pump is external or not....
