Do you know what gears you have in your axles?

If everything is working properly, at 55, in O/D, you should be right around 1500 RPM. If you aren't, then O/D isn't engaging. When you hit the button to disable O/D, it will also unlock TCC for a bit. How much of an RPM jump do you get when you disable O/D, and does it drop back down shortly after the jump? (without re-engaging O/D)

With the engine running? Probably not terribly unusual.

I can feel the disengaging when im in 1st 2nd and 3rd when i hit the button on the colum but after 45 mph it dosnt shift again so my rpms climb and at 55 im at 2000rpm 65mph im at 2500rpm it should go into od 4th aroung 45mph. So if its working at lower speed when i take the over drive out i dont understand why not at 4th gear/ which is the od?

O/D doesn't do anything below about 45. Disengaging does alter shift points though....

The 300 RPM jump is prolly just TCC disengaging.

Getting any codes?
