My friend and I are needing to put in a used transfer case from another truck and I was wondering if it matters if the donor truck is a stick. His truck is a 1997 Ram 1500 5.9 w/automatic and the donor is from a 1995 5.9 stick shift. If there is anything I need to know please inform me before I buy it on Sunday! Thanks Guys and Gals!!!

 

May need to put the input from the dead t-case into the live one. Slight length difference there... Of course, it may just bolt right on without issue too.
