97' 1500 transfer case problems... plz help

i know tape wont work cause its not air tight, and its right behind the cat. what would be a quick and inexpensive yet water proof, could i get some vacuum line and reroute it so it doesnt come so close the the cat

Yep. Or, just replace the current steel line, with some brake line the same size, and route it where you want it.
