Big block swap in a big black ram
Ok, so to start off I have a 1995 single cab short bed, 318 5spd with 7.5inches of lift and 37s. I recently did the one ton swap, 60/70 4:10 posi rear.
I've been debating on a motor swap for awhile, having 0bd1 my engine build would have to be basic (no one local tunes 0bd1) so instead of sinking 1k+ into top end parts, I'm doing the 440 swap!
Now I've read a few threads where people have done this but no one mentions where the got the mounts or even if they made them.
I'd like to run a 440 hooked to a manual tranny, if there an adapter plate I can buy? Please feel free to ask question and add input! Thanks everyone

As far as mounts go they're 99.9% prolly gonna best custom fab. If you are referring to mating that 440 to your current nv3500 that would disastrous to that trans. It does good to hold up to a modded 318 much less that montrous 440 lol.
Here's a page I found on it... Looks like the guy cut out the stock Ram mounts and welded the 440's right on the frame.

not to thread jack, but do you have any pictures of your 1 ton swap? i have a 60/70 that i will be putting into my truck soon, and was wondering about d-shaft length. did you have to shorten your driveshaft at all?
4.10's really aren't enough gear for 37's.....
Find a 440, manual trans, and t-case, and fab mounts for the set.
Might be able to get an adapter to put something like the NV4500 in there...

97tn4x4 lol I was thinking along the lines of a nv4500 lol
Redneck, the one ton swap was fairly simple took a few evenings, I went and bought the 2500 brake line (rubber ones and cuz I have so much lift) and the front shaft just bolts right up and the rear I took an inch off and it uses the 4.5in wide u joint. Double check yours lol and PB blast EVERYTHING a few weeks prior to the swap.
Over your rear axle, up in the frame rail there is a brake line bracket, buy a spare fella!

Heyyou, it actually made a big difference going from 3:55 to 4:10 and I only paid 200 for both axles ready to install lol

i got a quote from the big rig shop 2 miles from me to shorten my driveshaft, and it was 90 bucks, plus whatever the 1410 yoke costs.
i had already planned on getting 2500 brake lines. my truck is an 01, and the axles are out of a 96, so the lines, and calipers are a bit different.
how is the stopping power with those single piston calipers? my d44 has dual piston calipers, so im a little nervous losing 1 piston per side.
My 96 has a leaking master cylinder and 35s and it stops decent but nothing like duals do. But I like my 15s it had so not upgrading anytime soon on these may try a set of slotted rotors and new pads before I figure something out on better brakes
