New trailer plug

I'm looking into replacing my trailer plug because mines full of corrosion inside. Will any plug work and does it just plug into the back of the plug?

They aren't vehicle specific are they?

I would be tempted to go with this one. Won't fit in the stock location though....

I found an exact replacement for $40 I think I might just go with that one, but I have all week to keep looking so we'll see
