compression test results (not good)

How so? I ask because I did a compression test a while back (for ***** and giggles) and didn't know that I was supposed to hold it WOT...

I think I saw 150 on all but 1, cylinder 1, was a tad lower...

Wot will increase the compression numbers by giving the engine all the necessary amount of air to reach is full compression

Ah. Makes sense. I should go buy a compression tester and see what my numbers really are

i wouldn't mind getting one of those fancier compression testers just for the extensions. then i could hook my air chuck to the adapter and do a leak down test.

wide open throttle allows in maximum unrestricted air to compress. it might or might not give you slightly higher numbers. with throttle plate closed and iac closed the engine could theoretically starve for air.

to OP. those numbers aren't too bad. drive on another 100K miles.

Truck is getting tired on me and I like fords lol but ill put dodge wheels on it atleast
