super slow to heat

So I have a new coolant sensor, extra coolant and some RTV on hand. I will try to put it all back together this afternoon and burp it good and see what happens. I will drill a couple holes in the thermostat like it's been mentioned in other threads that I read about cooling system.

hold off on the holes in the t stat the holes will lower your heat if it is working properly

Don't use RTV on the sensors. They ground to the manifold. They are pipe threads, so, if they leak, just torque 'em down a bit tighter.

Ok I will wait on the holes, RTV is not for the pipe threads, I just put a little on the thermostat housing gasket.

My heat is back!
After I put it all back togheter and burped it and checked the blend door operation on monday it still didn't look good and it was confirmed on the way to work. Last night I took the thermostat off again and replaced it even if it was only a couple months old and the heat came back on finally. The new thermostat that I got has a little check valve buit in it to bleed the air out, pretty cool design.
