Non-marring hammer and a 2 jaw puller will work for most carriers. Get 4.88's for 37's though.

4.88 will have your engine closer to it's stock RPM for any given speed. 4.56 will have you lower. That will suck ***** when you hit O/D at 45 MPH, and the engine goes down to 1000 rpm or so. Gear hunting will become a way of life.

Kits are separate. Gears just come with..... the gears. Might be able to find a package deal though, both gear sets, and install kits for under 600.00.

I think that it's actually closer to stock ratio with 4.56's on 37's, but the extra scoot and room to go bigger (heaven forbid on half ton axles, but that's what people do...) with 4.88's will be worth the few extra rpms on the freeway.
