I've done a lot of automotive work on my trucks and my friends plus I have a lot of friends that r heavy into it so I think we can tackle it but is it a big job? I know backlash is a pain but other then that?
Yeah a buddy of mine should have all of that he's got a crazy jeep he's always working on. Really? My best friend has the exact same truck on 37s and it runs perfect u think I should go lower?
4.88 will have your engine closer to it's stock RPM for any given speed. 4.56 will have you lower. That will suck ***** when you hit O/D at 45 MPH, and the engine goes down to 1000 rpm or so. Gear hunting will become a way of life.
Kits are separate. Gears just come with..... the gears.
Might be able to find a package deal though, both gear sets, and install kits for under 600.00.

I think that it's actually closer to stock ratio with 4.56's on 37's, but the extra scoot and room to go bigger (heaven forbid on half ton axles, but that's what people do...) with 4.88's will be worth the few extra rpms on the freeway.
